Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  2. Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
  4. Pour batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
  5. Spoon sliced peaches evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top, if using.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use frozen peaches; just thaw and drain them first.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
  • Adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of your peaches.
