A simple and delicious peach cobbler recipe made with fresh or canned peaches and a sweet, buttery topping. Perfect for a quick dessert with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Pour batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Spoon sliced peaches evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the top, if using.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use frozen peaches; just thaw and drain them first.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
- Adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of your peaches.
