Description

This easy date bark recipe is a healthy and delicious no-bake treat made with dates, peanut butter, chocolate, and your favorite toppings. It’s perfect for snacking or a guilt-free dessert.


Ingredients

  • 12 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds (or any nuts)
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Flatten the pitted dates and press them together on the sheet to form a solid rectangle or square base.
  3. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the date layer.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour and spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Sprinkle chopped almonds and sea salt flakes on top.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until firm.
  8. Once set, break or cut the bark into pieces and enjoy.
