Ingredients
-
1 pack Buldak ramen (Samyang spicy noodles)
-
1 cup water
-
1 teaspoon oil (optional)
-
1 egg (optional)
-
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)
-
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Boil 1 cup of water in a small pan over medium heat.
-
Add the Buldak ramen noodles and cook for 3 minutes until soft.
-
Drain most of the water, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pot.
-
Add the Buldak sauce packet and stir to coat the noodles evenly.
-
(Optional) Push the noodles to one side and crack in an egg. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes, then mix gently.
-
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top and let it melt for 1-2 minutes.
-
Transfer to a bowl and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
-
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
-
For less heat, use only half the sauce packet.
-
Add cooked chicken or tofu for extra protein.
-
A splash of milk can mellow out the spice and make the noodles creamier.
