This easy banana caramel dessert is sweet, creamy, and perfect as a topping for pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or even toast. Made with ripe bananas and a quick homemade caramel sauce, it comes together in just minutes and brings big flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1 tablespoon heavy cream (optional for extra creaminess)
Instructions

In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon (if using), and salt. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring until smooth and bubbly.

Add the sliced bananas and gently stir to coat them in the caramel sauce.

Cook for another 2–3 minutes, or until the bananas are soft and caramelized.

Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream, if using. Let it bubble for another 30 seconds.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
