Description

  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 12 oz white candy melts or white chocolate chips

  • Food coloring or colored candy melts (pastel colors)

  • Sprinkles or decorative icing for garnish (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 12 oz white candy melts or white chocolate chips

  • Food coloring or colored candy melts (pastel colors)

  • Sprinkles or decorative icing for garnish (optional)

Instructions

    1. Crush the Oreos:
Add the whole Oreo cookies to a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs.

    2. Mix with cream cheese:
Transfer the crumbs to a bowl, add the softened cream cheese, and mix until fully combined and smooth.

    3. Shape the eggs:
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and shape it into an egg shape using your hands. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining mixture.

    4. Chill:
Freeze the shaped eggs for about 20–30 minutes, or until firm.

    5. Melt the coating:
While the eggs are chilling, melt the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Divide and tint with food coloring if desired.

    6. Dip the eggs:
Use a fork or toothpick to dip each Oreo egg into the melted coating, letting the excess drip off. Place back on the parchment paper.

    7. Decorate:
While still wet, add sprinkles or drizzle with more colored candy melts to create fun Easter egg patterns.

    8. Set:
Let the coating harden at room temperature or refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • You can use double-stuffed Oreos, but the filling ratio may change the texture slightly.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to a month.

  • Use gel food coloring for more vibrant colors without altering the texture.
