Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
- Assorted dippers (e.g., strawberries, banana slices, apple slices, marshmallows, pound cake cubes)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk and heavy cream over medium-low heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture begins to thicken and becomes smooth, about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt if using.
- Transfer the fondue to a fondue pot or heatproof serving bowl to keep warm.
- Arrange dippers on a platter and serve immediately with the warm dulce de leche fondue.
