The Dubai Chocolate Bar is a luxurious dessert featuring layers of rich chocolate, dates, and nuts, inspired by Middle Eastern flavors with a decadent twist.

- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup pistachios, shelled
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp honey or date syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 200g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa), melted
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Edible gold leaf (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Line a small baking dish or pan with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine dates, almonds, pistachios, shredded coconut, cocoa powder, honey, and cardamom. Blend until the mixture is sticky and well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared dish to form an even layer.
- In a microwave or double boiler, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the date-nut base and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate is set.
- Once set, cut into bars or squares. Garnish with edible gold leaf if desired.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
- You can substitute nuts with your preferred variety.
- For a vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey.
- Best served chilled for a firmer texture.
