Description

A delightful layered dessert combining sweet creamy layers, crushed cookies, and pudding to mimic the structure of a lasagna, perfect for parties or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cold milk
  • 1 tub (12 oz) whipped topping, divided
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 1/4 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar and 2 tbsp milk until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping and spread evenly over the crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mixes with 3 1/4 cups milk until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  5. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top if desired.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
  • Try using different flavored pudding for variation.
  • Use gluten-free cookies for a gluten-free version.
