Description

This quick and flavorful garlic butter shrimp recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner. With just a few ingredients, you’ll have a delicious meal in no time!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

 

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.

  • Stir in lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

 

  • Serve immediately with a side of vegetables, rice, or pasta.


Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a splash of white wine along with the butter.

 

  • Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for added zing!
