This homemade Crockpot Cinnamon Applesauce is naturally sweet, full of warm cinnamon flavor, and made with just a few ingredients. It’s the perfect side dish or snack and makes your home smell amazing while it cooks!
Ingredients

10 medium apples (a mix of sweet and tart like Fuji, Gala, and Granny Smith), peeled, cored, and chopped

1/2 cup water

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (adjust to taste)

1-2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional, helps preserve color)

1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional, for added sweetness)
Instructions

Add the chopped apples to the crockpot.

Pour in the water, then add cinnamon, lemon juice, and sweetener if using.

Stir everything together.

Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until apples are very soft.

Mash with a potato masher for a chunky texture or blend with an immersion blender for smooth applesauce.
