- 4 tilapia fillets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge each tilapia fillet in the flour mixture, coating both sides and shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
- Once melted, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest, cooking for another minute.
- Drizzle the sauce over the crispy tilapia fillets.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
