Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Dredge each tilapia fillet in the flour mixture, coating both sides and shaking off excess.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
  7. Once melted, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Stir in lemon juice and zest, cooking for another minute.
  9. Drizzle the sauce over the crispy tilapia fillets.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
