Description

A flavorful and creamy salmon dish infused with zesty lemon and fresh herbs, perfect for a light yet indulgent dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and lemon pepper seasoning.
  3. Sear the salmon in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Add the fresh herbs and stir well.
  8. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with lemon slices if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use skinless salmon fillets for easier cooking and serving.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  • Adjust lemon juice to taste for more or less tang.
