- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden and cooked through.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and butter to the sauce, stirring well to coat evenly.
