Description

This Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon is a decadent seafood dish featuring tender salmon fillets filled with a flavorful mixture of crab, shrimp, and creamy seasonings, then baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin removed
  • 1/2 cup cooked lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cooked small shrimp, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Cut a slit horizontally in the middle of each salmon fillet to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. Stuff each salmon fillet with the crab and shrimp mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the stuffed salmon fillets for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Use fresh seafood for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter option.
  • Optional: sprinkle a little paprika on top for added color before baking.
