Description

A quick and delicious fusion dessert combining the gooey sweetness of apple pie with the soft, spiced flavor of cinnamon rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter.
  2. Separate the cinnamon rolls and press them flat to form disks. Use them to line the bottom and sides of the pie dish, pressing together to seal gaps.
  3. In a bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the cinnamon roll crust and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for 5–10 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the included icing over the warm pie before serving.

Notes

  • You can chop the apples in the filling for easier slicing.
  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy twist.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
