Description

A delicious and indulgent layered dessert made with a chocolate chip cookie base, creamy cookie dough ice cream, and topped with whipped topping and chocolate drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup salted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1.5 quarts cookie dough ice cream
  • 4 oz Cool Whip
  • Mini Chips Ahoy cookies (for garnish)
  • Chocolate sauce (for drizzling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Stir in flour and baking soda until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Press the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
  7. Once the cookie base is cool, spread softened cookie dough ice cream evenly over the top. Freeze until firm (about 3 hours).
  8. Spread Cool Whip over the frozen ice cream layer.
  9. Garnish with Mini Chips Ahoy and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  10. Freeze again until fully set before serving. Slice and enjoy!
