Description

This Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf combines the classic flavors of ham, Swiss cheese, and seasoned ground chicken into a comforting, cheesy, and savory twist on traditional meatloaf.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 oz deli ham, chopped
  • 6 oz Swiss cheese, chopped or shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground chicken, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Dijon mustard. Mix until combined.
  4. Fold in chopped ham and Swiss cheese.
  5. Transfer mixture to prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.

  • Substitute mozzarella or provolone if Swiss cheese is unavailable.
