Description

Chicken and Waffle Sliders are a fun and delicious twist on the classic Southern comfort dish, combining crispy chicken and fluffy waffles into a bite-sized treat perfect for brunch or party appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 12 mini frozen waffles
  • 6 chicken tenders, cooked and halved
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toothpicks or mini skewers for assembly

Instructions

  1. Toast the mini waffles according to package instructions until golden and crisp.
  2. Cook the chicken tenders if not pre-cooked, then slice each tender in half.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup with butter and hot sauce (if using) until warm and combined.
  4. Place one piece of chicken between two mini waffles to make a slider.
  5. Secure with a toothpick or mini skewer.
  6. Drizzle the warm maple syrup mixture over the sliders or serve it on the side for dipping.
  7. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • You can use homemade waffles for a fresher taste.
  • Spicy syrup adds a kick, but it’s optional for those who prefer milder flavors.
  • Perfect as appetizers, snacks, or brunch bites.
