Description

A delicious, crispy, and gooey cheesy garlic bread perfect as a side or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden top, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
