Rich and fudgy brownies swirled with creamy peanut butter and topped with a luscious caramel drizzle, perfect for dessert lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Dollop peanut butter and caramel sauce over the top of the batter and use a knife to swirl through the batter.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top, if using.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool in the pan before drizzling with additional caramel and slicing into squares.
Notes
- Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- Warm individual brownies slightly before serving for gooey texture.
