Description

Candy Cane Jello Shots are festive, peppermint-flavored gelatin treats layered in red and white, perfect for holiday parties. They’re fun, boozy, and sure to impress your guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (3 oz) strawberry or cherry Jello
  • 1 box (3 oz) unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup peppermint schnapps
  • 1/2 cup vodka (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • Crushed candy canes for garnish (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the red Jello in 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Add 1/4 cup cold water and 1/4 cup vodka. Mix well.
  3. Pour into shot cups, filling halfway. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until set.
  4. Meanwhile, dissolve unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and peppermint schnapps.
  5. Allow the white layer mixture to cool slightly, then pour over the set red layer.
  6. Refrigerate another 1-2 hours until fully set.
  7. Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use plastic shot cups for easy serving and cleanup.
  • Adjust alcohol to taste, but keep total liquid proportions balanced for proper setting.
