Description

Individual foil‑pack apple crisps perfect for campfires, grills, or ovens.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup all‑purpose flour
  • ½ cup quick oats
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Aluminum foil


Instructions

  1. Build a campfire or preheat grill/oven to 350 °F.
  2. Cut four 8″×12″ sheets of foil and divide apples among them.
  3. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
  4. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, and baking powder; sprinkle mixture over apples.
  5. Seal each foil packet tightly.
  6. Cook packets on grate over fire, grill, or in oven for about 20 minutes.
  7. Open carefully (watch for steam), top with ice cream if desired, and serve.

Notes
