Description

These no-bake Butterfinger Balls are a sweet and crunchy treat made with just a few ingredients. Peanut butter, crushed Butterfinger candy bars, and chocolate come together for a rich, bite-sized dessert that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or a quick snack craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 10 fun-size bars)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (for smooth melting)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.

  2. Stir in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars until well combined.

  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes, until firm.

  5. While the balls chill, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate using a fork or toothpick. Let the excess chocolate drip off.

  7. Place coated balls back on the parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate sets.

  8. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.

Notes

  • You can swap coconut oil with shortening if needed.

  • For extra crunch, roll the dipped balls in more crushed Butterfinger before the chocolate sets.

  • Great make-ahead dessert – keeps well in the freezer for up to a month.
