Description
These no-bake Butterfinger Balls are a sweet and crunchy treat made with just a few ingredients. Peanut butter, crushed Butterfinger candy bars, and chocolate come together for a rich, bite-sized dessert that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or a quick snack craving.
Ingredients
-
1 cup creamy peanut butter
-
2 cups powdered sugar
-
2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 10 fun-size bars)
-
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
-
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
-
1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (for smooth melting)
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
-
Stir in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars until well combined.
-
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-
Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes, until firm.
-
While the balls chill, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
-
Dip each ball into the melted chocolate using a fork or toothpick. Let the excess chocolate drip off.
-
Place coated balls back on the parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate sets.
-
Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
-
You can swap coconut oil with shortening if needed.
-
For extra crunch, roll the dipped balls in more crushed Butterfinger before the chocolate sets.
-
Great make-ahead dessert – keeps well in the freezer for up to a month.
