Savory and protein-packed breakfast biscuits filled with ham and cheddar cheese, perfect for a quick morning meal or snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, milk, and eggs.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced ham, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use reduced-fat cheese and ham for a lighter version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the microwave or toaster oven for best texture.
