Description

A delicious twist on the classic Boston Cream Pie, this trifle layers moist cake, creamy vanilla pudding, and rich chocolate ganache for an irresistible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Bake the yellow cake according to package instructions. Let cool completely, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Fold in the whipped topping.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
