Description
A refreshing and vibrant blue lemonade made with lemon juice and blue curaçao syrup. Perfect for hot days or fun gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/2 cup blue curaçao syrup (non-alcoholic)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes, as needed
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the cold water and blue curaçao syrup. Mix well until fully combined.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if necessary.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the blue lemonade, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- You can replace sugar with honey or a sugar substitute for a healthier version.
- Add sparkling water instead of regular water for a fizzy version.
- Use food-grade blue coloring if blue curaçao syrup is unavailable.
