Description

Big Mac Sloppy Joes combine the iconic flavors of a Big Mac with the comforting texture of a sloppy joe. Perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing (or Big Mac sauce)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in chopped pickles and Thousand Island dressing. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toast hamburger buns and spoon the meat mixture onto the bottom halves.
  6. Top each with shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese.
  7. Cover with top halves of buns and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use store-bought Big Mac sauce or make your own with mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, and paprika.
  • Great with a side of fries or a simple salad.
  • For extra flavor, add a slice of American cheese on each sandwich.
