Big Mac Sloppy Joes combine the iconic flavors of a Big Mac with the comforting texture of a sloppy joe. Perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing (or Big Mac sauce)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in chopped pickles and Thousand Island dressing. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toast hamburger buns and spoon the meat mixture onto the bottom halves.
- Top each with shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese.
- Cover with top halves of buns and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use store-bought Big Mac sauce or make your own with mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, and paprika.
- Great with a side of fries or a simple salad.
- For extra flavor, add a slice of American cheese on each sandwich.
