Description

A rich and savory pasta dish combining tender beef slices with a luscious garlic butter sauce, perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season beef with salt and black pepper, then sear in the skillet until browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet, then stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and mix well with the pasta.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  8. Serve hot with extra cheese if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • For added richness, add a splash of heavy cream to the garlic butter sauce.
  • Substitute beef with chicken or shrimp if preferred.
