A rich and savory pasta dish combining tender beef slices with a luscious garlic butter sauce, perfect for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season beef with salt and black pepper, then sear in the skillet until browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet, then stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce.
- Return the beef to the skillet and mix well with the pasta.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
- Serve hot with extra cheese if desired.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
- For added richness, add a splash of heavy cream to the garlic butter sauce.
- Substitute beef with chicken or shrimp if preferred.
