Description

BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders are delicious, juicy, and flavorful sandwiches made with tender shredded chicken coated in smoky barbecue sauce, served on soft slider buns. Perfect for a casual gathering or party.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken in the skillet for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Shred the chicken using two forks or a hand mixer.
  4. In the same skillet, add the BBQ sauce and shredded chicken. Stir to combine, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Toast the slider buns lightly in the skillet or oven.
  6. Assemble the sliders by placing a generous amount of pulled chicken on each bun. Top with coleslaw if desired.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to use store-bought BBQ sauce or homemade sauce.
  • Coleslaw adds a nice crunch and freshness, but it’s optional.
  • For spicier sliders, add some hot sauce or jalapeños to the pulled chicken.
  • If you prefer slow cooking, you can make this in a slow cooker by cooking the chicken on low for 4-6 hours with BBQ sauce and then shredding it.
