- 1 prepared pizza crust (12-inch)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Brush the pizza crust with olive oil and spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the surface.
- Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and red onion slices.
- Place pizza on a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Try adding sliced jalapeños for extra spice.
- Smoked gouda can be a great cheese substitute for added flavor.
