Ingredients
Scale
BBQ Chicken Biscuit Mixture
- 1 (12-oz) can Grands Jr. flaky biscuits
- 1¼ cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- ½ cup chopped bacon
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Green onions to taste, chopped
- Cooking spray (for greasing pan)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC), ensuring it reaches the right temperature for baking your bubble up pizza evenly.
- Prepare Biscuit Mixture: Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them into a medium-sized bowl. Add the BBQ sauce and toss to coat all biscuit pieces thoroughly. Next, add the chopped cooked chicken, chopped bacon, and half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Toss everything well until the ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Prepare Baking Pan: Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Pour the biscuit mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top of the biscuit mixture. Then, add chopped green onions according to your taste preference.
- Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Bake until the biscuits are cooked through and golden brown on top, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, use your favorite smoky BBQ sauce.
- Make sure cooked chicken is chopped into bite-sized pieces for even distribution.
- You can replace bacon with cooked sausage if preferred.
- Use fresh green onions for a nice crunchy topping or substitute with chives.
- Let the pizza cool slightly before serving as the cheese and sauce will be hot.
