A no-bake dessert that combines all the flavors of a classic banana split into a delicious layered cake.

- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained and halved
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form a crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Layer the drained crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas on top of the pineapple.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the banana layer.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the whipped topping.
- Place halved maraschino cherries on top as decoration.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh, firm bananas to prevent browning and sogginess.
- For a nut-free version, omit the walnuts or replace with crushed pretzels.
- Best served chilled for a refreshing treat.
