Description

A tender and flaky baked salmon fillet topped with a rich, creamy lemon butter sauce that’s perfect for a healthy yet indulgent dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. While the salmon is baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce is slightly thickened.
  8. Remove salmon from the oven and spoon the lemon butter cream sauce over each fillet.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh salmon for best flavor and texture.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
