Description

This Baked Salmon with Buttery Honey Mustard Sauce is a simple, healthy, and flavorful dish featuring flaky salmon fillets topped with a rich, tangy-sweet glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skinless
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, melted butter, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  4. Spoon the sauce evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use wild-caught salmon for the best flavor and nutrition.
  • Adjust the amount of honey for more or less sweetness.
  • Can be paired with steamed vegetables or a side salad.
