This Baked Parmesan Crusted Salmon with Mayo is a quick and flavorful dinner option, featuring tender salmon fillets topped with a creamy mayo and parmesan crust for a deliciously crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Spread the mayo mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over the mayo mixture and gently press down to adhere.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
- Optionally, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for best results, but thawed frozen fillets work well too.
- You can substitute panko with regular breadcrumbs if desired.
