Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are seasoned to perfection and make a delicious side or snack.
Ingredients
- 4 large russet potatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the wedges and toss lightly to coat.
- Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through if needed.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning.
- Try adding a pinch of cayenne for a spicy kick.
- Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or garlic aioli for extra flavor.
