Description

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are seasoned to perfection and make a delicious side or snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the wedges and toss lightly to coat.
  4. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through if needed.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning.
  • Try adding a pinch of cayenne for a spicy kick.
  • Serve with dipping sauces like ranch or garlic aioli for extra flavor.
