Description

Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with crispy bacon, this Bacon Tortellini Alfredo is the ultimate comfort food. It comes together in under 30 minutes using store-bought cheese tortellini and a rich homemade Alfredo sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or when you’re craving something cozy and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Discard excess bacon grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the skillet.

  3. Melt the butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

  6. Add the cooked tortellini and bacon to the sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly.

  7. Serve warm, topped with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • You can use frozen tortellini—just follow the package directions to cook.

  • Add spinach or peas for a pop of color and nutrition.

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce.
