Description

Asian Ground Beef Noodles is a quick and flavorful stir-fry dish combining savory ground beef, tender noodles, and a bold soy-based sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Add garlic and ginger to the beef and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sriracha. Mix well to coat the beef.
  6. Add shredded carrots and cabbage. Cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  7. Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Swap beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Use pre-shredded coleslaw mix to save time on prep.
  • Double the sauce for extra flavor or if using more noodles.
