Crispy and golden Air Fryer Tortellini makes for a quick, cheesy, and delicious appetizer or snack that’s ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 10 oz cheese tortellini (refrigerated or cooked and cooled)
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Olive oil spray
- Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dip each tortellini into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
Notes
- You can use fresh or cooked and cooled tortellini.
- Try different fillings like spinach or meat tortellini for variety.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the air fryer.
