Description

Deliciously tender and flavorful Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites paired with crispy baby potatoes make a quick and satisfying gluten-free meal. Coated in a savory garlic butter sauce with smoked paprika and fresh herbs, this easy recipe is perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak and Potatoes

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved or quartered if large
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Optional Garnish

  • Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare Potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the cubed baby potatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  3. Cook Potatoes: Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket and air fry for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until the potatoes are tender inside and golden brown outside.
  4. Season Steak: Meanwhile, season the sirloin steak cubes with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Make Garlic Butter: In a separate bowl, mix melted unsalted butter with minced garlic and dried parsley to create the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Cook Steak Bites: After potatoes are done, push them to one side of the air fryer basket and add the steak bites in a single layer on the other side. Drizzle half of the garlic butter mixture over the steak. Air fry at 400°F for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, shaking or flipping the steak once halfway through, until the desired doneness is reached.
  7. Toss and Serve: Remove the steak and potatoes from the air fryer. Toss everything gently with the remaining garlic butter sauce, then garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

  • You can swap sirloin steak for ribeye or strip steak for a richer flavor.
  • For crispier potatoes, soak them in water for 30 minutes before air frying, then dry thoroughly.
  • Adjust the amount of garlic in the butter to suit your taste preferences.
