Description
Crispy, golden, and tender chicken cutlets made in the air fryer, topped with a creamy Caesar dressing and crunchy croutons for a healthier twist on the classic Caesar salad.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup croutons, crushed (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the flour in a separate shallow dish and beat the eggs in another shallow dish.
- Dip each chicken breast in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken cutlets in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and drizzle with Caesar dressing.
- Top with crushed croutons if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray the chicken cutlets with cooking spray before air frying.
- Serve with a side of Caesar salad or your favorite vegetables for a complete meal.
- If you prefer a more traditional Caesar dressing, you can use store-bought or homemade dressing.
