Description

These Air Fryer Candied Pecans are sweet, crunchy, and incredibly easy to make with just a handful of ingredients. Perfect for snacking, gifting, or topping your favorite salads and desserts.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg white, water, and vanilla extract until frothy.
  2. Add the pecans to the bowl and stir until evenly coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the coated pecans and toss to coat thoroughly.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  6. Place the pecans in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the pecans are golden and fragrant.
  8. Let the pecans cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
  • Try adding a pinch of cayenne for a spicy kick.
