Description
Crispy, golden wontons filled with a creamy blueberry cheesecake mixture and cooked to perfection in an air fryer. A quick and delightful dessert or party snack.
Ingredients
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup blueberry preserves or pie filling
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Cooking spray (for air fryer)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add blueberry preserves and gently swirl into the mixture (do not fully mix).
- Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add about 1 teaspoon of the cheesecake mixture in the center.
- Brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg, fold into a triangle or bring corners together to seal, pressing the edges firmly.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place wontons in a single layer without overlapping.
- Spray the tops of the wontons lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
Notes
- Do not overfill the wontons to avoid leaking during air frying.
- Use fresh blueberries instead of preserves for a less sweet option.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
