Description

Crispy, golden wontons filled with a creamy blueberry cheesecake mixture and cooked to perfection in an air fryer. A quick and delightful dessert or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup blueberry preserves or pie filling
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Cooking spray (for air fryer)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Add blueberry preserves and gently swirl into the mixture (do not fully mix).
  3. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Add about 1 teaspoon of the cheesecake mixture in the center.
  4. Brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg, fold into a triangle or bring corners together to seal, pressing the edges firmly.
  5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place wontons in a single layer without overlapping.
  7. Spray the tops of the wontons lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the wontons to avoid leaking during air frying.
  • Use fresh blueberries instead of preserves for a less sweet option.
  • Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
